Spanest: Strengthening the Protected Area Network of Southern Tanzania
SPANEST team participated in Celebrating the World Wildlife Day held in Dar es Salaam. A number of events were held including a march from MNRT headquaters to Mnazi mmoja grounds, performce from secondary schools and environmental groups including SPANEST band - a youth group of talented singers from Iringa supported by SPANEST project . The DPG -Environment representative gave a word of remark followed by a speech from Dr. Aloyce Nzuki the Deputy Secretary Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism. The event was organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism in collaboration with the Development Partner's group from the World Bank, USAID, UNDP, GIZ, UNICEF, etc.. Happy Wildlife Day!
